We are open to the public Monday to Friday between 9.30am - 3.30pm (closed for lunch 12.30 pm – 1.00 pm) and for telephone callers from 9.00am - 5.00pm. During out of office hours we have an answerphone to ensure your call can be logged and dealt with quickly. Unless otherwise stated, please telephone, fax or email enquires to the office above.
Carers Access to Health
The Carers Access to Health Project supports people who have a caring role, to attend health related appointments. The carer or the cared for must be over 65 years. The service can provide a sitting service whilst the carer attends an appointment and can assist the carer and/or cared for to attend appointments. This service is provided free of charge. Charity Shops
Our Charity Shops located at 21 Clifton Street, Lytham (tel 01253 783938 - Main office) and 44 Wood Street, St Annes (tel 01253 788472), which offer a wide range of quality, nearly new clothing, accessories and bric-a-brac. Using our shops gives you the opportunity to find a bargain whilst helping generate income.
Community Links Scheme
Our volunteers offer short term support such as home visiting with a view to helping older people re-engage with the local community, and offer practical support where necessary.
Computer lessons
For absolute beginners, or intermediate, we hold six week courses of one hour per week run from the above office.
Coping Alone - Bereavement Support
For older people who have been bereaved in the last 12 months, this service aims to help by providing practical support and a listening ear.
Hospital Aftercare Scheme
This service provides support to Fylde and Wyre residents age 65 or over who have attended the Accident and Emergency Department or Clinical Decisions Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and been discharged home. Our staff provide practical support in the home as well as appropriate information and advice for up to three weeks. Contact the Co-ordinator on 01253 655282 .
Information and Advice
Our staff are trained to provide information on a variety of topics and to give up to date fact sheets or signpost to a more relevant agency. Our service also includes a Citizens Advice Bureau Surgery, Pensions Service Drop In, Disability Information and Support Surgery and Legal Clinic.

Age Concern Enterprises offers a range of products and services designed with the needs of the over 50's in mind.
Luncheon/Activity Clubs
Our luncheon and activity clubs provide a focus for older people to meet, enjoy a nutritional lunch and engage in a variety of activities. The Cameo Lunch Club meets every Monday at St Cuthbert’s Church Hall to provide good nutritious food and great company. Our Lunch Club in Kirkham meets every Wednesday at the United Reformed Church and every Thursday at the Methodist Church, Poulton.
Older Peoples Forum
Established and supported by Age Concern Lancashire, the Older Peoples Forum is an important means of advising agencies and organisations, such as the District and County Councils, on issues that are important to older people.
Rural Community Support
Our Development Office works in the rural areas of Fylde to identify local needs and look at ways of setting up services to meet those needs. Opportunities are available to provide a range of activities such Computer Classes, Access to Information and Advice and Drop In centres at Kirkham and Freckleton and Carers Support.
Single Point of Access
This is a 'One Stop Shop' for people of Wyre and Fylde to access Age Concern Lancashire services available in the community.
