Close to the Health Centre and local Booths Supermarket, the office is easily accessible for personal callers. Our office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.00am - 3.00pm (closed for lunch between 12.30-1.00pm). During out of office hours we have an answerphone to ensure your call can be logged and dealt with quickly.

 Carers Access to Health
The Carers Access to Health Project enables people who have a caring role to attend health related appointments. The carer or the cared for must be over 65 years. The service can proved a sitting service whilst the carer attends an appointment and can assist the carer and/or cared for to attend appointments. This service is provided free of charge. Charity Shop
Our Charity Shop located at 33 Market Street, Carnforth (Tel: 01524 733990) which offers a wide range of quality, nearly new clothing, accessories and bric-a-brac. Using our shops gives you the opportunity to find a bargain whilst helping generate income and recycle your old unwanted items by donating them to the shop.

Community Links - Supported Shopping and Telephone Befriending
The supported shopping service  enables older people either to be taken to their local supermarket by a volunteer driver who will also help them with their shopping and loading/unloading afterwards, or emergency shopping obtained on an older person's behalf. The emphasis is on continuing independence in the home. The telephone befriending service provides telephone support to older people who are suffering from loneliness and isolation.  Telephone 01524 63961.

Employment Agency
This service offers individual specialist services to clients over 50 who are seeking support in looking for employment, further training, voluntary work, or want to establish their own business. We will provide help with administration, support with your CV, marketing, letter writing, application form completion, interview preparation, confidence building and any other issues that are barriers to work. Furniture
We are a referral agency for this project which aims to recycle furniture in order to reduce waste in the district.  If you are in need of furniture or have furniture to donate please contact either of our offices in Carnforth or Lancaster.

Help Direct
Help Direct is a new service being developed for all adults in Lancashire. Help Direct will aim to be your first port of call to get the right practical support, guidance and/or information you need to get the most out of life. You can call the low call phone number or drop in to speak to someone face to face. Your local Help Direct Team will help you find the right way forward – one that works for you. Hospital Aftercare Service
Our staff and volunteers offer practical support in the home following discharge from a hospital ward. People must be aged 60 or above and finding it difficult to resume their activities of daily living. Support can be planned for up to 3 weeks.

Information and Advice
Our volunteers are trained to provide information on a range of topics and to give up to date fact sheets or signpost to a more relevant agency.

Age Concern Enterprises offers a range of products and services designed with the needs of the over 50's in mind.

Medical Loan Service (Carnforth Office)
Run in partnership with British Red Cross, we can loan out wheelchairs, commodes, toilet frames, raised toilet seats, bath seats and back rests.  There is a small charge for this service.

Luncheon/Activity Clubs
Our luncheon and activity clubs provide a focus for older people to meet, enjoy a nutritional lunch and engage in a variety of activities. There are five luncheon clubs, in Caton, Carnforth, Warton, Silverdale and across the Lune Valley.

Time Banks 
Time Banks is a sharing of skills enhancing community spirit, engaging with neighbours and local residents, removing barriers to exclusion and isolation. Everyone’s time and talents are valued equally. For each hour of time given, an hour can be received back from another member. Telephone 01524 63961.

Volunteer Bureau
Volunteering is a valuable and integral part of society. It is not only a great way to help others, but also brings benefits to those who volunteer. It provides a way to have fun and meet new people and also to gain some valuable new skills and experience. Telephone 01524 63961.

Volunteer Led Services
There are a number of volunteer led services provided from our Carnforth Office primarily for older people living in the rural districts of Lancaster. These include handyperson tasks, home visiting, information and advice.
