Linking Communities: developing services and resources for older people
Linking Communities is a three year project being run by Age Concern Lancashire. Funding for this research has been awarded from the Big Lottery Fund and was won against intense competition. This project will build on earlier work that sought the views of older people on services and will examine whether the involvement of local communities in the development of services for older people results in better provision.

Age Concern Lancashire has just joined up to an NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) initiative to create donations via the internet. We have partnered up with the NCVO and Ask.com the popular search engine. We will be given donations from Ask.com advertisers whenever someone uses our special link to search the internet.
The link can be found on our Support Us page and the Fundraising page. Or directly from here
The results are exactly the same as you would get if you used www.ask.com and there is no cost to Age Concern Lancashire or the NCVO so please feel free to search till your hearts content. The only difference is that Age Concern Lancashire, and local older people will benefit.
